Mangrum, Jacob Eli
Jacob Eli Mangrum was born on December 30, 2000, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Laddy Mangrum, Jr. and Bonita Darlene Tidwell Blade. He entered eternal rest on August 2, 2025, in Fairview, Tennessee, at the age of 24.
Jacob was preceded in death by his father, Laddy Mangrum, Jr.; his beloved Paw Paw Tony “Big T” Tidwell; and his grandparents, Major and Peggy Mangrum.
He is lovingly survived by his mother, Darlene Blade, and his father, James Blade; his brother, Corey (Paige) Dedman; niece, Addy Dedman; and nephew, Amous Dedman. Jacob also leaves behind his uncle, John Blade; special aunt, Tracy Woodard; godparents, Herschel and Pat Armstrong; and grandmother, Dot Tidwell, daughter Clementine Mangrum and Uncle Don (Bubba) Tidwell—along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who will carry his memory forward.
Jacob had a deep love for his family and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fly fisherman, a talented artist and musician, and had a passion for working on his car. His creativity, gentle spirit, and kind heart touched everyone who knew him.
He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation with the family will be 5 Aug 2025 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and 6 Aug 2025 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Kellough Cemetery, Primm Springs, TN.
