Betty Ghist Maddox, 418 Amacher Drive, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at Lewis County Manor. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 25 in the O’Guin Cemetery with Minister Gene Durham officiating. Mrs. Maddox, 67, was born April 15, 1935 in Hohenwald. She was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Oma Lee Bullion Ghist. She was formerly employed as a teacher’s aide with the Hickman County School System. Survivors include her husband, Alfred Maddox of Duck River; a sister, Joan Holt of Fort Worth, Texas; and a nephew, Kevin Holt of Columbus, Indiana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert (Bobby) Ghist.
