Durwood H Lyons, affectionately known as Durby was born on March 16, 1938, and went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2025, at the age of 87.

Mr. Lyons is the son of the late Hezzie and Nellie Williamson Lyons. He is also preceded in death by his four sisters and one brother.

Mr. Lyons leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Margaret Lyons, sisters Ida Sue Lowrey and Paula Patrick, wife’s nephew Jason Head, wife’s nieces Mona Lee Bennett, and Haylee Head, wife’s great nieces Hollie Murphy and Chelsie Sircy, many other nieces and nephews, brother in law H.P. (Buddy) and sister in law Ginger Carpenter.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that anyone who wishes to make a memorial donation in Mr. Lyons memory to do so to the New Life Assembly of God youth center.

Graveside Services will be held 25 April 2025 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
