Hollis Leon Lynn was born January 22, 1935, and died April 7th, 2021, at the age of 86 years, 2 months, and 16 days.

Leon was the son of the late William Calvin Lynn and Ruby Easter Lynn. He is preceded in death by his brothers (James Calvin Lynn, John Thomas Lynn, and Leonard Lee Lynn) and 2 sisters (Mary Agnes Lynn and Flossie Geneva Lynn).

He is survived by 2 sons, Ronald Wanye Lynn (Jennifer) and Kerry Michael Lynn, 2 grandsons Michael Lynn (Aimee) and Matt Lynn (Amy), 3 great-grandchildren (Lilly, Cody, and Preston Lynn), and 2 great-great-grandchildren (Axel and Rydlee Lynn). He is also survived by 2 sisters – Shirley Faye Beard and Clara Mae Mays (Houston), several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Leon worked for many years at Levi Strauss company and at Tencon Manufacturing. He was also a carpenter and helped his dad build many homes in Centerville. He loved music and enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He loved Jesus and his family. He was a member of the Fairfield Church of Christ.  Visitation will be 10 Apr 2021 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and 11 April 2021 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  The funeral service will be 11 April 2021 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
