Ketiva worked as a registered nurse. In her 26 year career, she was served Maury Regional Hospital, Centerville Hospital, Nursing Director at Signature Health Care, and Clinical Coordinator at Williamson Medical Center. In these roles, she served and loved people and was a wonderful nurse. She enjoyed many things in life. Her dogs and animals, especially her lab Knox, had a special place in her heart. She also loved to travel. The beach was her favorite destination, Destin being her favorite. She was a comedian to her family and friends, and really just loved to have a good time. Whether that be by cracking jokes or listening to rap music or just spending time with family. When it came to her family it can be said that she went “overboard”, in that she was the best wife, mother, aunt, and friend that she could be. She was over the top. She loved spending time with her family and loved them each and everyone unconditionally.
In all this, she was a fighter. She never gave up in a 19 year battle with Lupus. She did not let it hinder her from being the best she could be in every facet of life.
Visitation with the family will be held on 2 June 2019, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Funeral Services will be held on 2 June 2019 at 3:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.
