Velma Felecia Lowery was born on August 6, 1959 in Hickman County to the late Samuel Meece Cathey and Ella Bell Anderson Cathey, and departed her earthly home on November 27, 2022 at the age of 63.

In addition to her mother she leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Telecia Lowery, a son, Vance Martin (Sabrina) brothers, Juanest, Avery, Artis, Vince, Marcus, and Carvis Cathey, sisters, Gloria Pillow and Janice Daniel, step-mother, Ida Sue Cathey and seven grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be December 3, 2022 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be December 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Fort Cooper Cemetery, Primm Springs, TN.
