Betty Joann Lomax was born on October 29, 1941, in Pleasantville, TN and passed away on March 15, 2019, in Dickson, TN at the age of 77. She was the daughter of the Jessie Edward Himes and Mammie Bernice Williams Himes.

She was preceded in death by her father, her brother, Conrad Himes, sister, Loretta Talley, brother,  Glen “Bo” Himes and brother Afton Himes.

She is survived by her Mother, her daughter, Sherry Richardson (James) of Bon Aqua, TN. son, Jerry Lomax Jr. (Becky) of Lyles,  brother, Dwight Himes (Joy) of Lobelville, sisters, Katie Himes of Nunnelly and Vivian Bonesteel of Pleasantville, grandchildren, Ginny Lomax, Brandon Richardson, Alexander Richardson, and Cody Richardson along with other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Visitation with the family will be held on 16 Mar 2019, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and 17 Mar 2019 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Pleasantville Pentecostal Church, Pleasantville, TN. Funeral Services will be held 17 Mar 2019 at 1:00 PM at Pleasantville Pentecostal Church, Pleasantville, TN . Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery, Pleasantville, TN.
