Littleton, Larry L
Larry L. Littleton was born 28 Dec 1956 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on 30 Oct 2020, at the age of 63 years.
A native of Hickman County, he was the son of Etta Roberson Littleton and Lloyd Luther Littleton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his love, beloved life companion and the mother of his beautiful children, Barbara Barnhill; step-brother Buddy (William Clarence) Howell; and step-sister, Wilda Euvema Howell Brown.
He was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Essie B. Groves Roberson as well as paternal grandparents Arch and Jimmie Bishop Littleton.
Mr. Littleton is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Gail Littleton Morgan, her husband, Daniel, and their children Alexis, Caleb, and Madelyn Grace. He is also survived by his two sons, Josh Barnhill, his wife, Samantha, and their daughter, Bexleigh; as well as Nikki Pollock, and his son, Bryton.
Additionally, Larry is survived by sisters, Jean Lovlace (Neal), Sheila Beard, Pat Jones (Steve), and brother, Charles Littleton (Robbie) as well as several nieces, nephews, many friends and loved ones.
Larry served his country in the United States Army, training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and studying at the U. S. Army Ordinance Center and School, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
He enjoyed the outdoors, and was very talented at masonry. He worked for many years expertly laying brick and in other construction. He was especially proud of the flower beds he designed and built for his mother beside her front walk.
Larry had a special bond with his mother. They loved each other dearly, and enjoyed sharing activities such as ginseng hunting in the woods of Hickman County.
Larry did not like to take sides when people disagreed. He could often be heard to say, “I love everybody.”
Larry had a good heart and a kind spirit. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation with the family will be 4 Nov 2020 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. The funeral will be 4 Nov 2020 at 2:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Burial will be at Groves Cemetery, Lyles, TN.
