Lindsey, Connie
Surrounded by her family on January 31, 2022, Mrs. Connie Lindsey peacefully passed away at AHC Lewis County at the age of 61. She was born in Hohenwald at the Boyce Clinic on June 24, 1960, to the late Garvis and Loudean Barber Hensley. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Lindsey Jr. and her siblings, Patricia Carroll, Gary Hensley, and Troy Hensley.
Mrs. Connie recently celebrated her 45th wedding anniversary with her loving husband Mr. Thomas Lindsey Sr. Connie and Thomas were members of Central Christian Fellowship in Hohenwald. Some would say that her loving, caring, selfless personality led to the career she was destined to have. She was a private duty home health LPN, and her patients were truly family to her. She had one of the biggest hearts and showed such compassion to everyone she was able to help and take care of during her nursing career.
One thing she was known for was her love of photography. She often attended sports events whether she had a child or grandchild playing. She just loved capturing the joy and happiness and displaying the importance of a single moment. Her photos were available for everyone to enjoy even if she hadn’t met you.
Mrs. Lindsey leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband; a son, Jason (Leah) Lindsey; grandchildren, Bailey Lindsey and Trasey “Tuff” Lindsey; great grandchild, Kolton Carroll; and her siblings, Brenda Frazier, Roy Hensley, and David Hensley.
Visitation with family and friends will be held in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 pm. A graveside service will take place Friday, February 4, 2022, at Hensley Cemetery at 11:00 am with Chris Bean and her son Jason Lindsey officiating. The family asks that everyone come in casual attire just as Connie would have wanted it.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations to be made in her honor to the Lewis County Cancer Victims Fund.
