Kosa, Charlotte Grace
Charlotte Grace Kosa, born on April 4, 1949, in Staten Island, New York, passed away on June 23, 2024, in Hohenwald, Tennessee. She was a daughter of the late Alexander and Rose Kosa, a loving sister, an aunt, and a friend whose radiant spirit and kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched.
Charlotte grew up in Staten Island, where she shared an inseparable bond with her parents and siblings. Though she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Alexander Kosa Jr., she is survived by her devoted sister, Rosalie Kosa Fulop. She was an adored aunt to her niece, Susan Fulop Decker (Donald), and cherished the moments spent talking with her great-niece, Alexis Decker, and great-nephews, Donald and Connor Decker.
Charlotte’s love extended beyond her family to include her four-legged companion, Rosie, who was a faithful friend until she crossed the rainbow bridge. Her passion for nurturing life was evident in her love for gardening and her compassionate care for stray animals.
After relocating to Hohenwald, Charlotte found a second family among her friends and neighbors. She was particularly grateful for the love and care provided by Ashley and Johnathan, whose kindness in her final years will always be remembered. Charlotte’s life was further enriched by her best friend and sister by choice, Johnnie Hawkins, whose companionship and support were sources of immense joy and comfort.
The community of Hohenwald held a special place in Charlotte’s heart, and she embraced it as her own, leaving a legacy of friendship and goodwill.
In honoring Ms. Charlottes wishes, no services will be planned, and her ashes will be scattered in a place that meant the most to her by her loving niece. Adair Funeral & Creamtion Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
