Jessie Lee Knox, a life lived with laughter and love, passed away on his 43rd birthday, December 12, 2023, in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Born in the same vibrant city in 1980 to the late Joe and Tammy Knox, Jessie’s infectious humor and boundless affection were the heartbeats of his family and friends.

Jessie’s early years were anchored in the warmth of his family, including his cherished grandparents, Milton and Lois Wade, and his cousin Carolyn Nicholson, all of whom predeceased him.

A proud father to Dakota and Roy Melvin, Jessie instilled in his children the same values of joy and friendship that he embodied every day. His siblings, Joseph, William, and Andrew Knox will carry forward the memories of their brother’s unwavering support and the countless moments of laughter they shared.

Jessie’s love for music was more than a pastime; it was a thread that connected him to others, a universal language through which he communicated his zest for life. His passion for family was evident in the way he devoted his time, ensuring that every gathering was filled with merriment and creating memories that his loved ones will treasure forever.
