In Loving Memory of Linda Kaye Talley- Kingdon, 1948 – 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Linda Kaye Talley- Kingdon, our beloved matriarch, who departed this earthly world on 22 Sep 2023, at the age of 75.

Linda was born 5 Mar 1948 in Centerville, TN to the late Benjamin Harrison Talley and Maude Lee Rivers Talley where she was one of fourteen children. Linda later moved to Memphis, TN where she lived a vivacious life as an entrepreneur of interior design and being a hairdresser.

As a loving wife, sister, mother, and “Mimi” Linda was the foundation of the family and leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations. She brought joy and laughter to all whom she shared her time with. Above all, Linda was a devoted Christian who believed in the Lord and enjoyed her daily quiet time in the mornings reading her Bible and devotional.

Linda is survived by her husband Keith Kingdon, two children, Felicity Spain and Benjamin (Ashley) Kingdon; five grandchildren, Thomas (Kimi) Powell, Felicia Powell, Danielle Redditt, Piper Kingdon and EJ Kingdon; five great-grandchildren whom she cherished; and a host of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held graveside on 30 Sep 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Charles Talley Memorial Cemetery, Centerville, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Charles Talley Memorial Cemetery. Each year Linda took great pride in decorating the family cemetery with vibrant flowers to honor those who had already passed.
