Vergie Mae King, age 88, born July 21, 1916 in Hampshire, Maury Co, TN, died May 16, 2005 at Lewis County Manor, Hohenwald, TN. The funeral will be held at: McDonald Funeral Home Inc, May 19, 2005 at 11:00 AM. The officiating clergy will be Bill Webb. Burial will take place May 19, 2005 in the Kittrell Cemetery, Hampshire, Maury Co, TN. Visitation will be 4:00 PM Wednesday. Survivors include sons, Vernon and David King; brother, James “Piddle” Howard Sharpe; sister, Josephine “Dolly” Katherine Keltner; grandson, Dennis King; granddaughters, Melissa Roberson and Van Humphreys; 8 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, William A. King, parents, Wesley and Nancy Katherine (York) Sharpe and daughter, Mary Frances Sisk.
