Mr. Douglas Carlton King was born in Hickman County, TN on December 07, 1935, to the late John Perkins and Mary Morton King and entered into rest on December 27, 20223 at the age of 87.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Doug is predeceased by his two brothers, Glen and Buford King.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine Davidson King, two sons, Ronnie (Jenny) King and James (Gail) King and his granddaughter Jamie King. Also surviving are his sisters, Frances (James) Vaughn, Mary Ruth Ragsdale, Fay Martin (Paul Roberts) and Joyce Haywood.

Mr. Doug was a farmer and loved to be among his cattle, go hunting and trapping, and enjoy nature. He loved his family deeply and was always known for arriving to any destination early.

Visitation with the family will be 28 Dec 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be 29 Dec 2022 at 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Shady Grove Stand Cemetery, Duck River, TN.
