Dorris Freeman King was born on August 6, 1940, and passed away on December 19, 2019, at the age of 79.  He was the son of the late Ellis King and Annie Johnson King.

He is also preceded in death by his wife Janet King, grandson Drew Luckett, brothers Albert King and Jim King, and sisters Ruth Breece, Mary Bates, Edith Breece, Shirley Hickman, and Clara.

He is survived by his daughters Daphne (Tim) Luckett, Stacey (Conrad) Driggers, sister Dorothy Frazier, as well as his cat Buckwheat and his other furbabies.

Visitation with the family will be held on 21 Dec 2019 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM and 22 Dec 2019 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be held on 22 Dec 2019 at 2:00 PM, McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.   Burial will be held in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
