Mr. James Terry Keathley, a beloved life-long resident of Hohenwald, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. 

He was born on June 3, 1945, to Giles Dodd Keathley & Loudene Roden Keathley. He married the love of his life, Joyce Keathley, and they were dedicated to their community and the people in it. Terry owned and operated his car dealership and sold insurance for Shelter Insurance here in Hohenwald for many years. 

He is survived by his grandchildren, Maggie Keathley of Durham, NC, Nick Keathley of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Beth Keathley of Nashville, TN.

Along with his wife, Joyce, he is preceded in death by his son, Blake Keathley. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 2:00 PM, in the McDonald Funeral Home -Lewis County.  A private burial will be held after.  Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on Saturday in the McDonald Funeral Home -Lewis County as well. 

Due to health concerns, the family requests that masks be worn by everyone in attendance.
