Nellie Bess Kalosis was born on October 30, 1919 in Lyles, TN and passed away on May 9, 2019 in Centerville at the age of 99. She was the daughter of the late Jasper (Jap) Newton Allen and Willie Izora Hooper Allen.

Mrs. Nellie was a member of the Eastern Starts NO. 329. She was active in the Chamber of Commerce and the Hickman Humane Society. While working she was a real estate broker and worked for Buck Realty for 35 years. She was a member of the Centerville Church of Christ. Mrs. Kalosis wrote these words: “I have lived a happy life, and God has been good to me.”

She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Wilson Cooper and Bronie Kalosis along with her 13 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and other loved ones.

Visitation with the family will be held on 12 May 2019, from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be held on 13 May 2019 at 10:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Burial will follow in the Charles L Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN.
