Charlie David Johnson, age 97, died Monday July 25, 2005 at Lewis County Manor in Hohenwald. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 27, 2005 in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel with Elder Garland Broadway officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery. Survivors include five sons, Elmer Johnson, David Johnson, B. J. Johnson, Malachi and Billy Johnson. One daughter Madgalene Stacey. Also three sisters, Alma Ruth Noe, Gustava Ritter and Geneva Swaner. Fifteen Grandchildren and seventeen Great-grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Mandy Metheney Johnson, his parents Emanuel J. and Lillian Lee Hall Johnson, a son Elvin Johnson and three daughters Pauline and Hattie Lee Johnson and Charlene Shroder. He was a retired farmer. Visitation with the family will begin at 4:00 PM on Tuesday.
