Thelma Christine Jenkins was born on June 13, 1943, and passed away on January 27, 2021. She was 77 years old.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Odie Stinson.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Jenkins Cochran, son, Stacey Jenkins, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband Jerry B. Jenkins of Bon Aqua. Sons, Ricky Jenkins and Odie Michael “Mike” Jenkins. Her daughters-in-law, Cindy, Tonya, Brenda, and Diane. Son in law, Gary. Grandchildren, Kira, Jeremy, Justin, Tori, Alison, Matthew, Jessica, Jason, and Johnathan. Great-grandchildren, Mattie, William C., Zachary, Mason, Hayes, William G., Jacob, Levi, and Kayden. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker. She was also a devout Christian and daily lived out her faith. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church.

Christine loved to sew, cook, listen to country music, and keep a garden. She made many beautiful quilts, served many meals to friends and family, and canned many many vegetables. She was always glad to have a house full of family and children around the holidays that she could cater to. She always had a skillet of cornbread.

Mrs. Jenkins loved her husband Jerry. They had been married for over 60 years. During that time they made many memories together. For a time, she would travel over the road with Mr. Jenkins. She helped him to earn his Millon Mile Belt Buckle. In these last years, Jerry truly lived out the wedding vowel “in sickness and in health”. He took the best care of her possible as long as he was able to do so. She was his life.

A graveside service for Mrs. Jenkins will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at the Jenkins Cemetery in Bon Aqua. Bro. Kenny Stone is to officiate.
