Winona Mary Jasinski, 81, of Chatham, New Brunswick Canada, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Perry Community Hospital in Linden. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2011 in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with Richard Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the Grinders Creek Church of Christ Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN. Mrs. Jasinski was the widow of the late John Edward Jasinski and daughter of the late George Merle and Isabel Lockerbie Coltart. Born April 10, 1929 in Chatham, New Brunswick Canada, she was a sales clerk for 30 years with the K-Mart Corporation. Survivors include her daughter, Marion Yates (Jerry) of Hohenwald, one son, Francis “Frank” Jasinski of Wyandotte Michigan, daughter-in-law, JoAnn Jasinski of Southgate Michigan; a sister, Marion Abtal of Hohenwald; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a husband, and a son, John Merle Jasinski.
