For Mrs. Betty cooking was a big part of her life. She worked for over 15 years between a restaurant and hospital preparing food. When cooking at home she could make a meal out of seemingly nothing, which was a good talent to have with 8 children. She loved making good country food and she was very good at it.
She also loved dancing and music when she was able. She enjoyed gardening and grew many flowers over the years. She also loved to go gambling. The Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut was her favorite place to go. She had always dreamed of winning the lottery. She had a big place in her heart for her two chihuahuas, Chico and Tikki. They were her babies.
Most of all she loved her family, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by them.
