Mary Lou Howell, of Nashville, was born in Dickson, Tennessee, on June 10, 1953, to the late John and Lorraine Bentley Mitchell and died July 28, 2021, at the age of 68 years.

Mrs. Howell is survived by her husband James Dennis Howell, daughters Stephanie Tilley of Centerville and Suzanne (Rob) Hurley of Nashville and sons Scott (Pam) Tilley of Murfreesboro and Joe (Jason) Tilley of Nashville, and grandchildren Simone Tilley, Abby Seeley and Lucas Hurley.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Howell is preceded in death by her brothers Moody Mitchell and Mike Mitchell.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Howell will be Saturday, July 31, 2021, in the Chapel of McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville beginning at 3:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 30, 2021, in the Chapel of McDonald Funeral Home beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.  [website lists cemetery as being Memory Gardens, Centerville, TN.]
