Gracie Wilma Holt, age 83, passed away on December 14, 2025, in Dickson, Tennessee.

She was born on April 5, 1942, to the late John Maddox and Eunice Tomlin Maddox. Gracie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Eugene Holt, Sr.; her son, Howard “HJ” Eugene Holt, Jr.; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Smotherman; and her great-grandson, Elijah Snook.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Elaine Smotherman (Jimmy Bowen); her brother, Charles “Sonny” Maddox; grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Carl “CW” (Jasmine) Smothermon, Ashley Snook, Brittany (Adam) Harris, Joe (Megan) Holt, and Brandon (Stephanie) Holt; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Alexis Jones, Desmon and Cameron Smothermon, Amelia and Sophia Snook, Reagan Harris, KateLynn, Jordenn, Kaydenn Holt, Jakob Holt, Jayson Hoover, and Colton Melton; and great-great grandchild, Tre Lenoir.
