Onis O’Neal Hinson, age 82, died Monday Feb. 16, 2004, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel. Robert Chandler and Ray Mercer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Clara Belle Harris Hinson, two sons, Danny O. Hinson of Hohenwald and Malcolm A. Hinson of Summertown. Six daughters Loretta Jane Runions, Rebecca L. Miller, Teresa Kenyon, Shirley Coffman, and Sandra Brewer all of Hohenwald. Brenda K. Cliff of Ethridge. Two sisters, Mary Lee Brewer of Hohenwald and Edna Chandler of Benton, KY. Mr. Hinson was born December 17, 1921. He was the son of the late Stanfill and Annie Lee Anderson Hinson. He was a veteran of the W.W. II having served in the United States Army. He was a retired logger and employee of Lewis Products.
