Myrtle Clemis Hinson, age 91, born July 31, 1913 in TN, died July 4, 2005 at Lynchburg Nursing Center, Lynchburg, Moore Co, TN. The funeral will be held at: McDonald Funeral Home Inc, July 7, 2005 at 10:00 AM. The officiating clergy will be Bobby Sampson, and Winston Tipps. Burial will take place July 7, 2005 in the Downey Cemetery, located at Hohenwald, TN. Visitation will be 4:00 PM Wednesday. Mrs. Hinson was a resident of Hohenwald until her health made it necessary to move to Estill Springs to live with her daughter. She attended the Estill Springs Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Judy (Lester) Hensley; sister, Mable Tidwell; son-in-law, Charles Bates; grandsons, Chuck (Dana) Bates , Barry (Krista) Bates, James Hensley, and Mike (Stacey) Hensley ; granddaughters, Julie (Jared) Stines, Debbie (Kevin) Farris and Leslie (Jason) Farris; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Marshall, Josh Marshall, Ryan Marshall, Tabby Bates, Brennan Bates, Rachel Latham and Dylan Latham; Great Great Grandchild, Keeley Farris. Preceded in death by her husband, James Ottis Hinson, parents, Samuel B. and Vera Bell (Rose) Flowers and daughter, Peggy Bates.
