Eddie Paul Hinson, age 69, died at his home on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Feb. 27, 2004 at Freedom Holy Temple Church in Hohenwald at 3:00 PM. Glen Floyd will officiate. Burial is to follow in the Downey Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Nettie Sue Holt Hinson, mother Lula Pauline Duncan Hinson of Hohenwald, six sons, Anthony Paul Hinson, Charles Michael (Rebecca) Hinson, Barry Todd (Robin) Hinson, Michael Eric (Mia) Hinson, Jason Alan Hinson, and Nathan David Hinson all of Hohenwald. One daughter Gaylyn Morris of Hohenwald. Three brothers, Charles Ray Hinson, James Elton Hinson and Ronald Lee Hinson all of Hohenwald. Three step-children, Nathan Wheeler (Sharlene) Hensley, Linda Odom (Steve Clayton), and Paula Hensley all of Hohenwald. Fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Hinson was born October 27, 1934 in Hohenwald. He is preceded in death by his father Hercules Elton Hinson. He was a security guard for Martha C. Enterprises. He served in the National Guard.
