Herrin, Brandon N
Brandon Nicolas Herrin, born on June 7, 1993, in Columbia, Tennessee, brought an immeasurable amount of joy, laughter, and creativity to the lives of all who knew him. It is with a heavy heart that we announce his peaceful passing at his home on December 25, 2023, in Hohenwald, Tennessee, at the age of 30. Brandon was a cherished son, brother, and member of a large, loving family.
Brandon is survived by his loving mother Stacey Herrin, alongside his stepfather Tony Wix. Despite the loss of his father, George Herrin, Brandon’s spirit remained unshaken, thanks in part to the strong family foundation laid by his grandparents, Teresia and Marvin Barber Jr., and the enduring love of his great grandmother Myra Hinson. His connection to his roots was further deepened by the presence of his deceased great grandfather, Dewey Hinson Jr. The family circle was vast and included his siblings, Jacob and Rebecca Herrin, his step grandmother Frances Barber, two great aunts, two great uncles, three aunts, two uncles, and a host of cousins, all of whom he held close to his heart.
Brandon was well-known in his community for his tenure as a cook at Hardee’s, where his jovial nature and quick wit were as much a part of the menu as the food he prepared.
The chords of his life were strung with music, as Brandon was an avid singer and a passionate writer of music. His sense of humor was one of his most defining traits, and he was often regarded as a comedian among his circles. Brandon’s ability to turn any moment into a memorable one with his sharp wit and infectious laughter was unparalleled. Equally, he was a voracious reader, finding solace and adventure within the pages of countless books.
Above all, Brandon’s love for his family was the melody that underpinned every aspect of his life. Time spent with family was his most treasured possession, and he made sure to fill those moments with love and laughter. His creative soul was also deeply spiritual, and he found comfort and peace in his faith, having been saved before his passing.
