Cecil Norman “Buddy” Hensley, 69, of Hohenwald, TN, passed from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at the Lewis County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born to R.C. & Evelyn Hensley on March 31, 1950  at the Boyce Clinic in Hohenwald.

He was very active in his church. Having served as a deacon and an elder in the Church of Christ, he offered his helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was a member of the Lomax Church of Christ. He was also very active in the community. Some of his clubs and organizations he belonged to are as follows: American Red Cross-Board Chairman, Lewis County Band Boosters-Past President, CLMA Lab Association-President, as well as numerous others.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hensley of Hohenwald, TN; daughters, Lisa Mullinicks (Greg) of Hohenwald, TN and Kelly Kilgore (Chip) of Hohenwald, TN; grandchildren, Scott Mullinicks of Hohenwald, TN and Kensley Kilgore of Hohenwald, TN; and sister, Rita Pace of Columbia, TN.

His parents precede him in death.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 4:30 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home –  Lewis County with Malcolm George and Donnie DeBord officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens, Hohenwald, TN.
