Allen Stanley Wayne Hawks, was born on April 13, 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee, and passed away after a short battle with cancer on November 16, 2023. He was 60 years old.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Eugene Hawks, Sr., mother, Imogene Ledbetter Pirtle (Dan), mom, Madeline Hawks, grandmother or “Other Momma”, Lucy Bell Hawks, his partner for over 30 years, Shirley Guy, and brother, Charles Ledbetter.

He is survived by his son, Michael Bland. Daughters, Delilah Shell and Samantha Shell. Brother, Frank Hawks Jr. (Jada). Sisters, Julie Goodman (Steve), Annie Hawks, Frankie Scott (Bo), Tonia Barger (Jason), Lucy Garton (Stonie), and Christian Dalton (Lee). Seven grandchildren. Special extended family, Thelma and Teddy. Several nieces and nephews. His beloved pitbull, Zeus. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Wayne worked many different jobs in his life. He was a jack of all trades and a master of none. He did automotive repair and bodywork, construction, and farm work.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hanging out with his friends, and watching westerns. In his younger years, he could often be found rooster fighting. Most of all he loved his kids, grandkids, and family. He will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The time and place will be announced once those arrangements are made.
