Bobby Ray Hartman was born on July 8, 1944 in Nashville, Tennessee and passed away on October 30, 2021 at his home in Primm Springs. He was 77 years old.

He is the son of the late Roscoe and Maudie Clinard Hartman.

He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters Carolyn Lumis and Shirley Downey.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years Donna Jennette Stinson Hartman of Primm Springs. Daughter Melissa Hartman of Primm Springs. Granddaughters Amanda (William Terry) Pate of Primm Springs and Ashlee (Jared) Prince of Spring Hill. 4 great-granddaughters Raleigh, Kinley, Paislee, and Everleigh. A loyal and loving brother Benny (Bubba) Hartman. 2 Sisters Sue Hobbs and Mary Jo Baldwin. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

He was a member of the Fernvale Church of Christ.

Mr. Bobby passed away peacefully at his home, with family by his side. He served for 35 years with the Metro Nashville Fire Department and retired as a Battalion Chief. He was a devoted family man who loved God deeply. He enjoyed helping others in his career and enjoyed nature and farming.

His favorite passage of scripture was John 3:16    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Visitation will be 2 November 2021 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be held 3 November 2021 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Burial will follow at Hudgins Cemetery, Fairview, TN.
