Leslie Gene Harris was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on October 16, 1952 to the late Vera Barbara-Jean Harris and Brooks Leslie Harris. He passed from this life in Nashville, Tennessee on May 31, 2022 at the age of 69. He had served in the United States Army for more than 3 years.

Leslie is survived by his wife of nearly 28 years, Susie Harris; children, Claude Andrew Hudgins (Flip) and Nicholas Jerome Griffin; and grandchildren, Skylar Rose Hudgins and Aaliyha Jade Hudgins.

A memorial service for Leslie Gene Harris will be held on Saturday, June 11 at 2:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will be performed. A visitation with the Harris family will be held from 1:00 PM until service time. An urn burial in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery will be held at a later date.
