Mrs. Nora Sue (Davis) Hardy, a lifelong resident of the Oak Grove Community in Hohenwald, passed from this life to her eternal home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 89.

Nora Sue was born on October 12, 1932, to Gillie H. Davis and Ollie (Fite) Davis, in Hohenwald. She grew up and obtained her teaching degree. For two years, she taught at the old Buffalo Valley School. She then met and married the love of her life, DT Hardy. After they married, she began teaching at Lewis County Schools and taught there until her retirement. Nora Sue volunteered at the Lewis County Museum of Natural History and also at the Lewis County Food and Clothing Bank. In her spare time, she loved to fish as much as possible. She was very active in her community, but especially in Oak Grove. Nora Sue was a life-long and dedicated member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two sons, Freddy Hardy and Danny Hardy, both of Hohenwald. Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Services for Mrs. Hardy will be announced in the coming days.

Burial will be at Davis-Oak Grove Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
