Dan Hardy, age 89, of Hohenwald, died Monday, December 15, 2003, at the Lewis County Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at 1:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Clifton Johnson, minister of the Leipers Fork Primitive Baptist Church in Arrington will officiate. Burial will follow in the Swiss Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Nell Johnson (Sam) of Arrington, one sister Iva Dell Clifton of Etheridge, three grandchildren, Kathy Vick (Joe) of Murfreesboro, Danny Weigel (Mandy) of Castalian Springs, Price Johnson ( Andrea) of College Grove. Five Great Grandchildren, Samantha Vick of Murfreesboro, Daniel Weigel of Knoxville, Taylor Brown, Dalton Johnson and Josie Johnson all of College Grove. Mr. Hardy, born February 2, 1914, was married to the late Haskel Hardy. He is the son of the late Francis Marion and Harriet Elizabeth Martin Hardy. He was a retired carpenter.
