Terrance “Terry” Lester Halley, age 74 of Lyles, Tennessee, departed this life at his home on Saturday April 29, 2023 with his loving wife Julia by his side. Terry was born on June 11, 1948 in Dahlgren, Illinois to the late Ivan Halley and Julia Clytee Rogers Halley. He is also preceded in death by his son Terrance Ivan Halley.

In addition to his wife, Julia Halley, those left to cherish Terry’s memory are his daughters, Chinna Renee Halley of Waycress, Georgia and Carma Joan Halley of Lebanon, Tennessee, five grandchildren, Austin, Ashton, Macaria, Shray, Alexis and one great-grandchild, Saint.

After proudly serving in the army Terry worked as an HVAC technician for most of his life. He had made many lifelong friends at the local VFW and will be missed dearly.

In keeping with Terry’s wishes he will be laid to rest beside his beloved son Terrance Ivan Halley. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday May 2, 2023 at the Martin Cemetery in Lyles, Tennessee. Pastor David Briggs will officiate the service.
