Roosevelt Cordell Halfacre, age 101, born November 16, 1903 in Baxter, Putnam Co, TN, died April 25, 2005 at Life Care of Centerville, Centerville, Hickman Co, TN.  The funeral will be held at: McDonald Funeral Home Inc, April 28, 2005 at 1:00 PM.  The officiating clergy will be Artie Collins.  Burial will take place April 28, 2005 in the Downey Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.  Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 5:00 PM.  Survivors include sons, Howard Halfacre, Jimmy Halfacre, Louie Halfacre, Wayne Halfacre, Tony Halfacre and Pat Halfacre;  daughters, Margie Pope, JoAnn Curry, and Phyllis Cogdill;  sisters, A. G. Meadows, Juanita Ruhf, and Janet Dekard;  29 Grandchildren, and 56 Great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by three wives: [1st] Edna (Craig) Halfacre, [2nd] Mattie Lou (Fuller) Halfacre, and [3rd] Norma Lee (Canady) Halfacre, parents, James Jefferson and Annie Mae (Halfacre) Halfacre, son, Doug Halfacre and daughter, Helen Amacher.
