Virga Virginia *Tootsie* Pevehouse Haley, 89 passed away  May 16, 2021.  She was born 3 September 1931, daughter of the late Granville and Odell Pevehouse. 

She was married to the late Clebert C.W. Haley and they had three sons that have since passed away: Darrell, Roger and Guy Haley and is survived by three daughters-in-law, Brenda Haley, Ledonna Haley and Cheryl Haley.  She raised two grandchildren as her own, Tammy (William) Scott and the late Angela Haley. 

She is survived by her brother, Gene (Virginia) Peevyhouse. 

Ms. Virginia also leaves behind her grandchildren, Billy Wayne (Lauren) Haley, Crystal Haley, Melissa (James) Lampley, James Guthrie, Andy Neblett, Daniel (Erin) Scott, Ashlee Scott, Hallie (Kyle) Portman, Gina (Kevin) Patterson, Dillon (Baleigh) Choate and Lara (Fawas) Upchurch El-Salim. Great-grandchildren include Christopher “Lil C.W.”, Chelsey-Lynn Vaughn, Ali Binkley, Emilya and Dominick Portman, Grayson, Novie and Issac Haley, Barrhett Choate, C.J. Guthrie, Brittany Wison, Brittany Lampley and Omayah, Sajaya El-Salim.

In addition to her parents, husband and three sons, she was preceded is death by her granddaughters, Angela Haley and Brittany Haley Binkley, a great-granddaughter, Harley Rayne Portman and sister, Marlene Pevehouse.  

Visitation will be 18 May 2021 from 5;00 PM – 9:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.  Funeral Services will be 19 May 2021 at 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home – Lewis County.  Burial will be in Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
