JoAnn Guinn, age 83 of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away on October 10, 2024, in Waverly, Tennessee. JoAnn was born in Lansing, Michigan to the late Woodrow and Hazel Irene Mathis on March 3, 1941.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Phillip Brooks, of Lansing, Michigan, and Farrell Brooks, of Lansing, Michigan, Nephew, Darrell (Branda) Houseman, of Hohenwald, Tennessee, Nieces, Antoinette Frazier of Hohenwald, Tennessee, Collette JoAnn Schafer of Charleston, South Carolina, and Toni (Chris Larue) Grantham of Los Angeles, California. Great Nieces, Melinda Marshall, Danielle Shepherd, Casey Britton, Jessica Gann, Shandelle Mathews, and Michelle JoAnn Matthews. In addition to her family, JoAnn leaves behind a dear friend Mrs. Betty Sue Williams and her precious 3-year-old furry companion, “Baby”.

In addition to her parents JoAnn is preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne Brooks and Carven Brooks, Sister, Laura Miles and Toni Keener.

A memorial service will take place at a later date, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Dickson, Tennessee. Please contact Brenda Massaro 615-306-8526, for a date and time.
