Raymond “Pete” Grinder, age 89, born July 3, 1914 in Hohenwald, TN, died April 15, 2004 at Perry Community Hospital in Linden, TN. The funeral will be held at Graveside, April 17, 2004 at 4:00 PM. The officiating clergy will be Ray Mercer. Burial will take place April 17, 2004 in the Bethel Cemetery, located in Linden, Perry Co, TN. Survivors include second wife, Alta (Gladden) Grinder; nephew, John Henry Brewer; nieces, Freda Ware, Nora Deavers, Barbara Grinder, Wanda Seiber, and Teresa Spears. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nora (Dabbs) Grinder and his first wife, Etres (Reeves) Grinder.
