Mr. Larry Edward Grimes, 79, of Hohenwald, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at his home. He was born on September 19, 1941, to Lemuel Edward Grimes and Carmie Graves Grimes, here in Hohenwald. He worked in data entry for many years. Larry was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church and was very passionate in the sign language program there. He taught many people sign language during his lifetime.

He is survived by several cousins and very special friends. His parents precede him in death.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Graves Cemetery with Bert Spann officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00-1:30 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home chapel.
