Griffin, Bradley Ray
Bradley Ray “Pee Wee” Griffin was born on November 23, 1946, in the Wrigley Community of Hickman County. He passed away on November 3, 2019, in Dickson, TN. He was 72 years old. He was the son of the late James Robert Griffin and Billie Sue Bentley Griffin Edlin.
He is survived by his partner Bobby Williams of Lyles. sisters, Margaret Holland of Bon Aqua, Linda Thomasson of Bon Aqua, and Janie Allen of Centerville, brother, Gerald Griffin of Bon Aqua. aunts, Martha Jo Canady and Jean Bentley along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Griffin worked at the Levi factory for several years. Once Levis closed he took over running his parents grocery, Griffin Grocery. He ran the store until retirement. He enjoyed watching TV, especially the show “The Walking Dead”, and playing on his computer. He liked his TV to be “Picture Perfect”, and would not settle for anything less. He led a simple life and was content to be at home. He enjoyed his dogs, Sadie Marie, Pody, Gizmo and Molly. Over the past several weeks Mr. Griffin had an uphill battle with his health. Though given tough odds he fought hard. His family would like to thank all of the Doctors and Nurses at the TriStar Horizon Medical Center ICU for all of their hard work and compassion during his stay there.
Visitation with the family will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home – Centerville Chapel on 5 November 2019 beginning from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home – Centerville Chapel on 6 November 2019 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens, Centerville, TN.
