Gerald “Jerry” Franklin Greene was born in Franklin, TN on May 30, 1955 to the late Evelyn Logan Greene and Lloyd Greene. He passed away in Nashville, TN on February 2, 2022 at the age of 66. He was a lineman with the Nashville Electric Service for 32 years, as well as a farmer and fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Greene. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Greene; children, Misty Ernest, Natalie Greene, Brittany Hutchinson, Anthony Hutchinson, and Riley Hutchinson, who Jerry affectionately called “Chunk Baby”; sister, Teresa Norvell; and ten grandchildren.

A funeral service for Gerald “Jerry” Franklin Greene will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview, TN. A visitation with the Greene family will be held from 11:00 AM until service time.
