Briana Lee Graves, a loving mother, daughter, and friend, passed away at her home in Smithville, Tennessee on September 4th, 2023. Born in the same town on December 19, 1979, Briana’s life was a testament to her love for her community and her family.
Briana was born to the late Hal Brent Dutton and Judy Christine Jackson. Her family expanded with the addition of her stepfather, Gene Jackson, who brought his own son, Adam Johnston, into the fold. Briana was the beloved sister of the late Kenny Lemke and cherished aunt to Kasey Lemke, Lindsie Conners and Riley Conners. She also leaves behind her two sons, Payton Graves and Mason Pitts, who were her pride and joy.
Briana’s family was the core of her life, but her heart extended to those she cared for in her professional life as well. As a nursing tech at AHC Lewis County, she brought a sense of compassion and comfort to both her patients and colleagues. Her dedication to her work reflected her kind spirit and her commitment to helping others.
In addition to her work in healthcare, Briana was known for her creative talents. She had a passion for painting, sewing, and crafting, often infusing her artwork with the same warmth and care she brought to every area of her life. Her artwork was not only a reflection of her creativity, but also of her spirit, which was always vibrant and full of life.
Briana was known by all who loved her as a spirited individual, full of energy and light. She was generous with her love, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand for those in need.
Briana was also fortunate to have been cherished by her grandmother, Lucy Leisure, who she held in high regard.
Briana Lee Graves will be remembered for her loving nature, spirited disposition, and kind heart. Her memory will continue to inspire her family and friends, reminding them of the importance of love, kindness, and the joy of living each day with purpose.
Visitation with family and friends will be held in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services on Friday September 8, 2023, from 11:30 to time of service of 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Napier Cemetery.
