Clarise Ralph Gossett was born on August 8, 1937, and passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 87.

Ralph is the son of the late Clarise Hobert Gossett and Katie Virginia McFarlin Gossett. He is also preceded by wife Martha Jo Staggs Gossett, brother Paul Gossett, and sister Sharon Dillingham.

Ralph leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Kathy (John) Scott, son David (Amy) Gossett, grandchildren Kyle (Lydia), Allie (Eric) and Gentry, great grandchildren Lila Jo, Emmie Rae, and Esther Naomi Scott.

Ralph was a religious man; he loved to coach ball and being an umpire. He was a fierce fan of Vanderbilt, Tennessee Vols, Dallas Cowboys, and the Tennessee Titans. He was an encouragement to all he influenced and especially his grandchildren at playing sports and keeping the game influenced in them for generations. From farming to baking cakes, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He will be missed by all who knew him.
