Ima Pearl Gordon, of the Swan Creek Community, was born April 13, 1922, to the late Odie Walker and Cindy Parthenia Anderson Sharpe and died August 11, 2021, at the age of 99 years.

Mrs. Gordon is survived by her daughter Elaine (Leon) Gilbert, grandson Chuck (Tara) Gilbert, granddaughter Dawn (Steven) Glenn, great-granddaughters Laura (Keithen) Harris, Lindsey Glenn, and Carrie Gilbert, and great-great-grandson Camden Harris. She is also survived by her sister Dot Jenkins and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Gordon, an infant son, sisters Elise Thompson, Eva Rial, Ruby Sharpe, Noveline Jenkins, and Christine Gordon and her brothers Hulon Sharpe, Utley Sharpe, Delbert Sharpe, Willis Sharpe, Waymon Sharpe, Glen Sharpe, and Leroy (Cork) Sharpe.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 16, 2021, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Bill Watts will have the reading of the obituary and Devin Pickard will officiate. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
