Peggy Marie Goins was born in Lyles, Tennessee, on April 30, 1936, to the late Herman Bishop and Retha Brewer Martin and died October 5, 2021, at the age of 85 years.

Mrs. Goins is survived by her children, Dianne Tidwell of Dickson, Vicky (Dale) Beagle of Lyles, Kimberly (Lee) Smith of Lobelville, Lori Fann of Nunnelly, David (Debbie) Goins of Lyles, and Jason (Courtney) Goins of Bon Aqua, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Carol Ross, Judy Spencer, and Sandra Wilson and brother, Gary Bishop.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goins is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Goins, daughter, Sharon Tinsley, and her brothers, Charles Bishop, Dewayne Bishop, Shirley Lindsey, and Tony Bishop.

Visitation with the Goins family will be Thursday, October 7, 2021, at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Mrs. Goins will be Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with Wilson Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Cemetery, Lyles, TN.
