Robert Lee Gilmer was born on March 14, 1936 to the late Charlie and Bessie Loveless Gilmer in Centerville, TN and departed this life on July 8, 2022, in Columbia, TN.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Marge Gilmer, a sister Margaret Mayberry, and a brother Bill Gilmer.

He is survived by his children Troy (Susie) Gilmer, Tracy (Kevin) Binkley, Trevor (Melissa) Gilmer, Grandson Austin Gilmer, and brother Charles (Carol) Gilmer.

Visitation with the family will be 11 July 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be 12 July 2022 at 12;00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
