Shirley Leon Gilbert was born on May 12, 1939, and passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 85.

Mr. Gilbert is the son of the late Charles Thomas “Tom” Gilbert and Addie O’Guin Gilbert. He is also preceded in death by his brother Dale Gilbert.

Mr. Gilbert is survived by his wife Janey Gilbert, daughter Kristi Miller, daughter Kim Brewer, stepdaughter Susan Sullivan, stepson Jimmy Tidwell, sister Joyce Bates, 9 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

Mr. Gilbert loved racing and fishing and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation with the family will be 6 Jan 2025 from . 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.   Funeral Services will be held 7 Jan 2025 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
