Eric Maguire Ghant was born October 27, 1968 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Teresa Stone and grandparents Chester and Margaret Ghant who helped shape him into the man he became.

He leaves his beautiful sister, Tiwana Booker (Wan) and nephews, Donavan and Tyree (lovingly referred to as “the nuks”), Jaxon, Ricky; and nieces Savannah, Harley, Serena, and Anna.

He shared his life, love, and antics with his wife, Gena and their son, Zachery.

His church family was the Centerville Church of Christ. We will miss the man deeply. Eric was a fuel truck driver for many years and would talk about truck driving and guns for as long as you would let him. You couldn’t meet him without being impacted by him. We are so very grateful for the gift of having known him.

Visitation with the family will be held on 31 May 2019, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Funeral Services will be held on 1 June 2019 at 1:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Burial will follow in the East Side Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
