Dorothy June George was born May 18, 1935 and died May 20, 2019 making her life here 84 years and 2 days.  A native of Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late J.P. and Addie Bailey Love. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herschel George and her daughter, Nancy Nelson.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Kenny) McDonald, grandchildren, Shelly (Bobby) Boyd, Kenneth Shaye, J.T. and Phillip Nelson, great-grandchildren, Gracie Boyd, Kaden McDonald, and Matthew Nelson, along with many other relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held on 22 May 2019, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Funeral Services will be held on 23 May 2019 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. Burial will follow in Anderson Bend Cemetery, Duck River, TN.
