Dwight Glenis “Glenn” Garrison, 75, of Hohenwald, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at his home. He was born on May 3, 1944, to James Henry Garrison and Verna James Garrison in Hohenwald.

During Glenn’s childhood, he was nicknamed “Duke” by his Dad and was known as this by his family members and close friends throughout his life. He was self employed. He and his wife of many years, Callie, were members of the Pineview Church of Christ.  Glenn was always a kind person who never met a stranger and who always had a smile on his face.

Survivors include his wife, Callie Garrison of Hohenwald, TN;  daughters, Renee Garrison Churchwell (Randy) of Union City, TN and Karen Garrison Morris (Larry) of Hohenwald, TN;  brother, Onis Garrison (Joyce) of Linden, TN;  sister, Donna Owen (Billy) of Hampshire, TN;  grandchildren, Jennifer Jordan (Dallas) of Union City, TN, Brandon and Brayden Morris of Hohenwald, TN;   step-great-grandchildren, Zach Jordan and Julianna Jordan, both of Union City, TN.

Preceded in Death by his parents, James Henry Garrison and Verna James Garrison.

Graveside services will be held on 31 May 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Springer Cemetery with Bobby Carroll officiating.  Burial will follow in the Springer Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
